Main Responsibilities Cont.

  • Ensure that all required maintenance is identified and completed before aircraft is released.
  • Liaison with operational programming authority to align projected aircraft status and flight line resources with expected sortie and configuration requirements.
  • Ensure tasked aircraft are released for aircrew acceptance a minimum of 30 minutes ahead of planned take-off time.


Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding if Aviation regulatory requirements for maintenance under Part 145.
  • Demonstrable safety focus.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to deploy on notification nationally or internationally.
  • Ability to access DRN
  • Minimum Cert IV Aeroskills (desirable not essential)


Desired Characteristics

  • DASA B1.1 license
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, effectively plan and be proactive in all facets of the role to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
  • Previously held an Australian Defence Force Security clearance
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to use initiative.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge and effective use of PC applications including MS Word, e mail, Web Browser, and Excel.
